Description
The Dwarf Aquarium Lily (Nymphaea stellata) brings a splash of color and elegance to any freshwater tank. With heart-shaped leaves in shades of green, bronze, or reddish-pink, it grows from a small bulb and sends up short stems that can remain submerged or reach the surface like miniature lily pads.
Its manageable size makes it ideal for midground placement—even in smaller tanks. Easy to care for, beautiful to look at, and perfect for creating a natural focal point in your aquascape.
Care and Planting Directions
Place the bulb partially on top of the substrate—do not fully bury it. Provide medium to high light for best leaf coloration and growth. It thrives in a nutrient-rich environment and responds well to root tabs, though it will grow without them. Trim surface leaves to encourage bushier growth below.

Growing good so far
When I got it the leaf and stems separated before I could plant it in the tank. I was bummed but planted it and few days later it started sprouting. 3 weeks later and I have 3 lovely leaves growing.
