Description
Cryptocoryne 'Mi Oya' is a naturally occurring hybrid from Sri Lanka, often associated with Cryptocoryne × willisii. It features gracefully narrow, wavy-edged leaves that range from olive green to reddish-brown, depending on lighting and nutrients. Compact and slow-growing, it's a great fit for midground or accenting foreground areas in low-tech aquariums.
Care and Planting Directions
Plant in fine-grain, nutrient-rich substrate and avoid moving it once settled. Like many crypts, it may melt when introduced to a new tank but recovers well with consistent care. CO₂ and strong lighting are not required, making it beginner-friendly.
